WHEN THE STORY BEGAN

WHY IT BEGAN

Chronic fatigue was prevalent and a medical research team felt that the endocrine glands had an important part to play in people’s health.

WHO WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WORK

A medical research team in the North Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital had use of a Polargraph machine designed by a Czeck, Dr. Hirovoski.

WHAT THE MACHINE DID

This Polaragraph machine measured the hormonal output daily through urine tests. This was critical as the body excretes approximately only 2 tablespoons of hormonal fluid in a lifetime.

RESULTS OF THE INITIAL EXPERIMENT

Over the next 12 years, the research team tested 1,400 patients regardless of age, sex or complaint. Thousands of tests were run. They showed patients had a low hormonal output and low nutrition in the blood stream.

ACTION TAKEN

The Doctors reviewed the patient’s diet and made required changes. Subsequent tests showed that the bloodstream had adequate amounts of nutrients.

As there was no change in hormonal output, something was malfunctioning.  The patients OUGHT to have been feeling better, but there was no change in any of their conditions.

WHY THE EXPERIMENT WAS ENLARGED

The patients were still plagued by chronic fatigue and other problems. So once again the team examined the diet and they discovered the patients were lacking whole grains.

So the patients were given whole grains. Their hormonal output increased and THIS time they responded.

The Doctors then enlarged the project to investigate the cell’s structure and function.

THE FASCINATING CELL

In the late 1940’s and early 50’s medical scientists knew that the cell had an internal processing plant.   But this research programme showed very clearly, that little food was getting into the cell to be processed. Why not?

The food simply could not get in. Why not?

Because the cell wall was stiff and hard (See Cell Diagram)

When whole grains were added to the diet, nutrients became available to the cell for processing. Why?

Because the nutrients could now get inside the cell due to a pliable wall.

LIPIDS/STEROLS/FATTY ACIDS/FATS

So what was in the whole grains that caused this incredible break through?

The research team carefully dissected the grains and discovered that the aleurone or outer layer of the grain contained a minute amount of oil. (See seed diagram)

They examined the cells again and THIS time nutrients were passing through the cell membrane into the cell itself. Each cell membrane has 3 layers or coverings. Each layer is different. The 1st and 3rd were made of protein, but the 2nd or middle layer is composed of a lipid (oil) layer (See Cell diagram again)

Prior to including whole grains in their diet, the team found that all patients had little or no oil/fat/lipids/sterols in their cell membrane. Consequently, their cells were stiff, the food could not get in for processing and the cell waste could not get out.

But when the team gave them whole grains, the membrane became soft and pliable and patients began to recover. The cells became healthy and the patients took on a new lease of life.

These oils are called lipids or sterols or fatty acids or just plain essential fats. A plant membrane is different from the human membrane.

AMAZING DISCOVERY

The research team had discovered how essential these lipids were for good health. This was a tremendous breakthrough. Now they knew why we are sick, tired, lacking energy – the cell membrane was not functioning properly. This can lead to innumerable problems and lack of ammunition for the body’s immune system to call on.

WHAT GRAINS WERE USED

Wheat, rice and soybean. The research team named it Tre-En-En which simply means 3 in 1.

THE RESON FOR THE DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT

The change in patient’s physical health was dramatic because the oil in the cell membrane allowed nutrients in and waste out. The team discov­ered the oil in the membrane corresponded to the lipids in the seeds.

95% of the body’s requirements for these lipids/sterols come from these 2 grains – rice and wheat and 1 legume/seed – soybean. The other 5% comes from other seeds and nuts.

When seeds are processed, what gets thrown away first?   The husk or outer covering which is the aleurone layer, plus the oils and lipids. These 3 oil classifications are named Arachidonic Acid, Linoleic and Linolenic Acids.  All oils turn rancid when exposed to air.

RESULTS AND TIME INVOLVED

The patients recovered. The experiment took 12 years.

WHAT IT DID FOR THE ENDOCRINE GLANDS

This body system is composed of 8 glands each with a specific job to do. Each produces individual hormones for specific functions. Even though they are only tiny, they are still made up of cells. These glands make us the kind of people we are and affect every part of our lives.

Now look at the cell membrane chart. The little balls with a square or round post are hormone receptors and are diagrammed on the chart. You can see the cell manufactures its own special hormones also. So when the cells become nourished and healthy, the glands responded in a similar manner.  Now the glands could function more efficiently.

POSSIBLE RESPONSES

One of the first functions of a sick cell that becomes healthy is to eliminate any accumulated waste. For this reason we could experience some diarrhoea, a rash, hives, a cold, feeling “yuk” or tired. It usually is short lived.

We will never go back to growing and grinding all our own grains, so we will always be lacking these essential oils.

Subsequent independent University studies in 1962 and 1987 showed that these oils allows glands to produce up to 254 times more hormonal activity than prior to using. So this product not only feeds and cleans cells, but also activates the endocrine glands to work more efficiently.
