Endometriosis & the Cellular Health Connection

by endosolu

If you follow my rants on health (or know me at all) you know I firmly believe health starts at the cellular level… healthy cells = healthy people.

If you are not into reading science abstracts (as sadly I am) the snaphot to this article below is that… hold on drumroll… healthy cells = healthy people.

On top of that revelation it is a study aimed at endometriosis.

The basics of cell health are as below… part of our supplementation program for natural endometriosis treatment involves what this diagram is talking about… enjoy.

Energy (& Hormones) Start with Nutritional Assurance at the Cellular level

The very first step is to make sure your cells are healthy… your hormones (and most other bodily functions) depend on it !

Extracellular matrix remodelling in the endometrium and its possible relevance to the pathogenesis of endometriosis

Essential features of endometrial physiology involve the extracellular matrix (ECM). In the pathogenesis of endometriosis, interactions of endometriosis cells with ECM can be postulated. Two systems of secreted proteases in the endometrium, the plasmin(ogen) activator/inhibitor and the matrix metalloproteinases and their inhibitors were examined in cell cultures of uterine endometrial cells from women with and without endometriosis. Soluble urokinase receptor secretion is increased, and mRNA transcription of tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2 (TIMP-2) is upregulatd by progestin in endometriosis. These findings are compatible with an altered ECM turnover in the endometrium of these patients that may explain a higher invasive potential of retrogradely menstruated endometrial fragments.
